Bloodstock 2011
The 38th edition of Farmfair is just around the corner running November 5 to 13, 2011. Thursday, November 10, is your opportunity to be a part of Bloodstock 2011; a horse auction REBORN –a sale intended to build an industry platform to market the highest quality horses from across Western Canada.
The organizing committee is fully committed to building a sale that attracts premium bloodstock that fulfills a very particular mandate, "The largest offering of quality horses north of the 49th parallel and rivaling sales globally in terms of quality and value". This is a bold vision and over time, they intend to build the sale prestige and awareness – a long term goal with a long term vision.
Although there is a strong foundation of horses already consigned - in order to fulfill the mandate they have extended the deadline to October 3, 2011.
The first 60 qualified horses will benefit from the advantages of Bloodstock 2011 which includes:
- $425 entry fee, NO commission, NO membership
- Thursday’s line-up of the largest Rodeo and Equine audience featuring
- Team Roping Futurity in the morning
- Canadian Finals Rodeo (CFR) performance following the sale, with headliner act Blake Shelton, this will be one of the CFR`s biggest nights!
- Live Internet bidding for Canadian, U.S. and International buyers
- Marketing support for the Canadian Supreme Stakeholders, Alberta Quarter Horse Breeders Group and a growing database of buyers from Northern Bloodstock
